Moore Student Radio is an award-winning, student-lead community radio station based at Liverpool John Moores University.  The station was founded in September 2024, and we have grown at an exciting pace in our first year!

We broadcast 24/7 and provide a variety of shows all hosted by our talented student presenters – whatever your interest is- we’ve probably got the show for you !

We’re a proud member of the Student Radio Association, who have provided us with special experiences such as hosting the SRA chart show, and the SRA conference- where we picked up the SRA Gold Award for the most supportive student union!

Our first year was a major success, from the 24 hour ‘Mega Mo Marathon’ broadcast to appearing on the BBC Radio One breakfast show – it had it all! Our hard work was recognised, with being awarded society of the year at LJMU!

But we are still just getting started! Jack Bostock is your Moore Student Radio station manager going into the next academic year. He has exciting plans for charity fundraisers, collaboration with other stations – and expanding our team of presenters so we can broadcast even more shows!

Being a uni society, we also make sure we enjoy ourselves off air every week at a weekly social, which has created a friendly environment to allow our station to further thrive!
